Hand Forged San Mai EDC Knife
This Hand forged knife was made using the traditional Japanese San Mai technique. San Mai, 3 layers in Japanese, is an age old method where one type of steel is forge welded to another in a sandwich. In this case, 15N20 and 1095 were used. The knife is then heat treated and given a multi part acid wash to bring out the contrast in the two steels. This knife was designed as a great little daily carrier, excellent for a number of tasks. A great addition to any knife collection, and an amazing little tool for cutting, slicing, and whittling. Comes with a Rainy Forge made leather sheath.
