This bearded throwing hatchet was hand forged entirely from 1095 steel. The edge has been hardened and tempered for maximum edge retention and durability. The axe throws very well, and stays sturdy on the handle during use. The handle, hand carved from cherry, is sturdy, lightweight, and feels good in the hand. Comes with a handmade leather storage cover with tooled basket weave patterns.
