This Go Mai knife was hand forged from a five layer construction of high-carbon steel (1095) and copper, creating a blade that offers striking aesthetics. The copper layer in the knife surprisingly doesn't hinder the knife's durability, essentially laminating to the steel in the forging process. This knife is sharp as a razor and durable for piercing and whittling tasks. A great every day carrier or heirloom piece. The accompanying leather sheath was handmade by The Rainy Forge as well, and features hand carved floral designs.
