This knife was forged entirely by hand, no power hammer required. The two steels used are 1095 and 15N20. The Damascus is an aprox. 40 layer, twisted ladder pattern, with some raindrop pattern accents. The bade has been given an instant coffee black finish that is wear resistant. The knife has been designed as an excellent slicer and cutter, perfect for in the field or day to day. Comes with a handmade leather sheath with carved flower designs.
