This hand forged every day carry knife was made from W2 steel and given a traditional Japanese Hamon line. Hamon lines are both beautiful and function serving. The hamon line is made by applying furnace cement to the knife's spine during heat treatment. As a result, the knife's spine stays soft while the edge hardens. This gives the knife some extra durability and leaves the incredible clad line, brought out with acid. The knife was designed as a great every day carry knife, or addition to any go bag. It excels as slicing and cutting, while also having a good piercing tip. Comes with a handmade, scout carry, Rainy Forge leather sheath, set up for right side rear draw.
