Hand Forged Patch Knife
This simple yet elegant patch knife was hand forged from W2 in my traditional coal forge, and given a Japanese hamon line. The hamon line is the wavy white streak on the blade's bevel. This line was created from applying furnace cement on the spine of the knife during heat treatment. Not only does this process leave the beautiful hamon line, but gives the knife added strength and durability. This knife was designed as a great carving, whittling, and slicing blade that is perfect for a variety of tasks. Comes with a Rainy Forge made leather sheath.
