This 1600s-1700s style tomahawk was hand forged from mild steel with a forge welded 1095 bit. The edge has been hardened and tempered for edge retention and durability. The axe throws very well, and stays sturdy on the handle during use. The handle was hand carved from red oak, and is sturdy, lightweight, and feels good in the hand. Comes with a handmade leather cover with 2" belt loop, and deer antler clasp
