This seax knife was hand forged from an old file. It has been designed with a tall bevel and thick spine, perfect for heavy duty slicing and cutting. The tang extends through the deer antler handle 1/2 of the way. The pewter bolster and pommel inlay were poured in the traditional historic method, and backed with epoxy. The blade has been hardened and tempered for edge retention and durability, and features a shaving sharp edge. Comes with a Rainy Forge made sheath. Perfect for hiking/camping excursions, the ren faire, role playing, or reenacting.
