This hand forged knife was made from W2 tool steel. It has been given a traditional Japanese hamon line using furnace cement on the spine during heat treatment. The knife is designed to be a sturdy lightweight slicer, skinner, and/or chef knife. The knife has a thinner spine, allowing it to be super easy to carry and use, without sacrificing sturdiness. Designed to mimic the Buck 119 bowie style knife, this knife offers a modern take on the classic. The guard is made from stainless steel and the pommel from aluminum. The handle is made from walnut set in Rainy Forge resin. Comes with a hand tooled, Rainy Forge, leather sheath.
