The hamon line was created using furnace cement during heat treatment, and revealed with an acid bath. The hamon is not only aesthetically pleasing, but adds to the knife's overall durability. Its simple but strong shape and size makes this knife perfect for cutting boxes, whittling, or small game processing. The edge is razor sharp, and the knife fits comfortably in the hand.
